Peter N. Reusswig, MD
Peter N. Reusswig, MD, has served as the Medical director of the North Valley Pain Center since 1998. He has served as the Director of Anesthesiology at the Musculoskeletal Surgery Center, in Thornton, CO, for the past five years. As a graduate of Amherst College in Amherst, Massachusetts, he completed his medical training at New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York, internship in Internal Medicine at Cornell's New York Hospital, and Anesthesiology and Pain Management training at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA. He then served on active duty as Chairman of the Department of Anesthesiology at Long Beach Naval Hospital.
Dr. Reusswig moved to the Denver Area in 1994, where he helped to develop the Pain Center at St. Anthony Hospital North. The Pain Center moved, in 1998, to North Valley Hospital, where it exists today.
Dr. Reusswig is level II Accredited with the Colorado Division of Workman's Compensation. He serves as a physician advisor to Pinnacol Assurance, Anthem Blue Cross, and Sloan's Lake Managed Care, and frequently lectures fellow physicians on topics such as the use of opioids in the treatment of pain and on the latest interventional techniques that are being studied and used in the treatment of pain. He is a principal investigator in a multicenter study looking at percutaneous disc decompression using controlled ablation in the treatment of leg pain stemming from herniated lumbar discs.

Jeff Meyers, PA-C Certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants, and currently licensed by the Colorado Board of Medical Examiners, Jeff has been practicing medicine since 2006. He is a graduate of Red Rocks Physician Assistant Program in Lakewood, Colorado. He did his undergraduate Bachelors at Colorado State University, graduating with Honors with a degree in Biological Sciences, Pre-Med, and a minor in Neuroanatomy. Jeff has worked in Family Practice, Urgent Care, Internal Medicine, and Geriatrics. He started with Colorado Pain Management in September of 2010, and really enjoys the opportunity to help patients with their pain. Jeff is a Colorado native.
